Development Journey

Roadborne began as a multiplayer co-op experience, with extensive networked systems built using FishNet. After careful consideration, the project transitioned to a focused single-player design to deliver a deeper, more personal journey through the wasteland. The game features a distinctive low-poly art style with custom toon shading and weathering effects that create a unique post-apocalyptic atmosphere.

Roadborne is the debut title from Enigmatic Studios, representing a love letter to sandbox survival, scavenging, and player-driven storytelling.
